Archie and Catherine embraced everything about love, romance and their very own style when planning to marry during these unusual times. Unexpectedly after a wave of postponements, this super chic couple popped up in my emails asking me to photograph their wedding. A breeze of happiness and positivity came over me as we chatted about their day.

Archie & Catherine tied the knot at Winchelsea Church in East Sussex with Catherine looking simply stunning in her Margaux Tardits gown. The groom debonair in tails from Oliver Brown of London with Mackenzie tartan rocking a modern twist, and the Brides besties glowing in the most gorgeous colour palette of emerald green and hues of blue carrying single stemmed hydrangeas.

This historic town blew away the pandemic blues as the occasion delighted onlookers. The reception followed at the bride’s family Country Manor home with social distancing and a handful of their originally planned wedding guests with bespoke vintage styling setting off the gorgeous scenery. Family members helped out to make this personal and very special of days including the cake, itself making a pledge for stardom being the most elegant centrepiece adorned with romantic flowers perfectly sitting amongst the blended decor.

When the mother of the bride walks towards the wedding party leading two thoroughbreds (camera shutter now in dreamland) for a photoshoot with the couple my breath was taken away and it didn’t stop there with the brides father arriving with their pet sheep ‘Shaun” sitting in the passenger seat of their jeep looking perfectly normal, it then hopped out and mingled with the guests. Just brilliant !!

Evening celebrating commenced with sword cake cutting and dancing in the stable block, comfy hearty and rustic. As I walked to my car the warm bokeh glowing in the darkened country scene gave me renewed spirit as a wedding photographer back behind my camera.
