Soulmates and “favourite people in one place” I think that sums up a wedding day perfectly!
Emma & Olly first got in contact way back in January 2021 at the beginning of their journey of planning two very special days, the first of which will always have a special place in my heart.
Wedding number 1 (during covid times) link: Olly and Emma April 2021
August 2022 arrives and another trip west this time to the beautiful Silchester farm in Hampshire for wedding round 2, filling the venue to the rafters with a celebration truly deserved.

Scorching day and this little fella “Yogi” is the cutest welcome sight

Stretch the legs and a little wander around is in order and oh my gosh so so pretty, beautifully decorated
Such a lovely feeling welcomed by family and guests we had got to know a little previously.

What a difference a year makes ‘Yogi’ wearing his ring bearer wedding collar now has a very gorgeous new addition to the family ‘Pickles’. They both seemed to enjoy taking centre stage in the bridal party but later when the moment came to transport the rings and their important duty was imminent, they had nodded off in the glorious sun in the front row spot. This day wouldn’t have been the same without them they really are highly important family members.
I mean what more could you want ?
Bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning in these dresses and the colour. (insert chef’s kiss)

Arriving in style in a vintage MG, its finishing touches time and drinks in the sun for Olly as the whirlwind of wedding emotions begin.
And so begins the flitting around capturing those last minute excitements as all the prep comes together and moments within moments start to unfurl in front of you.

What a delightful entrance to the ceremony full of wild meadow flowers, backdropped by the beautiful lake and accompanied by a violin serenade

The wedding blessing was performed by Emma’s brother James, and the Violinist accompanied Olly’s sister Hannah as she sang once again so beautifully. The readings had words I remembered from the Church wedding back in April 2021 in Aldworth, still to this day up there with the best and most personal I have ever heard.

Time to celebrate with a drive to the country lanes as newly weds

Always love doing bridal party photos and this wind tunnel made it super fun.

One word ..Stunning !

Heart melting moments full of laughter, tears, deep breaths and hugs and behind the camera these are the times when your finger hovers constantly over that shutter. The longer I do this the more involved I get, there was so much going on that a half time speech break was needed, and time to pull down the long window blinds to allow the sunglass wearing guests to cool down and top up their glasses.
So captivating it flew past and soon we were back outside chasing the sun setting behind the poplar trees.

I love a cake positioned ready for that shot, not hiding in a corner it deserves to be bang in the middle
Shout out to the venue staff they are awesome !

Nailing the partying with a full dance floor, topped off with Emma and two of her bridesmaids performing as an Abba tribute and yes complete with hairbrush mics. Fab u lous !!

One last thing when you get a cheese toasty van at the end of a long day and you are about to drive home, it’s simply epic !
“A safari officially signalled the beginning of Emma & Olly’s new adventures,
wishing you guys all the luck in the world “
